Riverpines is a very popular North Fulton course. As of last week the fairways were in great shape and the greens were recovering from the spring aeration a couple of weeks earlier. It is a great layout with many creeks and ponds to navigate around. Very scenic with several holes along the Chattahoochee River. It is not in a neighborhood so there are no houses to deal with and walking is allowed. They have a great practice facility that includes a large range, a nice chipping area and putting green, a pitching area and green for longer shots, two large practice bunkers, and a separate putting green towards the 1st and 10th tees. A fully stocked Pro Shop, grill, and bar in the Club House. Typically the grounds crew keep the greens a little slow for my taste (maybe to compensate for the amount of rounds they have to accommodate or to help the Bentgrass survive the hot Atlanta weather). Some women (like my wife) may love this course as the red tees are a little farther forward than many of the reds at other courses in the Metro Atlanta area. They facility also has an excellent nine hole Par 3 course that typically has very nice greens.
