The Orchard/Logo at Orchard Hills Golf Course

Course is open and provides rolling fairways. Not extremely upscale but is maintained well and is a good track for the value.

The course layout is satisfactory. Holes vary in design and difficulty. The land is nice. There are very few trees. The greens were in decent shape but the greens had weeds. The fairways were inconsistent. It is early spring and the Bermuda is not in yet. Still you can tell the condition of the grass by the presence of weeds, and the turf is OK, not great. The sand traps were well maintained.

I have played this course many times and it always never fails to be a great day. The course is in very good condition and has 27 holes. The pace of play was awesome. We sped around so quick we actually played the 3rd nine. The pro shop staff is as usual very friendly. They actually appreciate my business and at the end of the round ask if everything was OK. I have played many Atlanta public courses and many of those staff make you feel like you are a pain.

Still a lot of brown but the greens were in pretty good shape.
Played the orchard and the rock garden nine and both were good but loved the rock garden . A good test of golf for all levels of player.

Orchard Hills is a nice open course to play. The fairways are pretty forgiving and greens are well kept. Great course for a relaxing play.

We travel from Marietta to go to this course. And the staff know it and always treat us like family. The bent greens are in great shape. The traps need a lot of work, and they know it. That should be addressed this year. This is a fairly easy links course, but with a few holes that will definitely test your game.

Greens were wonderful. Fairways dried up winter bermuda, but very playable. Tees great. All in all, the best all around course I have played in the past few months.

I figured the greens would either have been recently aerated or not up to peak quality, but the greens rolled really well and held approach shots nicely. It is always a treat to play Orchard Hills!!

Nice course a little out of the way from Atlanta but well worth the money. Pace of play was well managed and course was in good shape (especially the greens - very well kept and fast in the morning). Links style layout is not too punishing and makes for an enjoyable round. Good course!

Definitely a different layout than most I've run across in the Atlanta area. Only played two of the three nines, but they were generally much more open than the normal pine forest cut-outs you get in the region; also, no homes surrounding the course!

Excellent greens, some of the best rolling and most playable I've found in the area. Speed was moderately fast and consistent across the course. Bunkers were generally in good condition and layout was interesting without any real gimmicks. If you're hitting the ball well off the tee, many of the par 4s will play short from the blues. Fairways were dormant, but look like they'd be in good shape in season.

Only complaints were a complete lack of pictorial representations on tee boxes which made some of the blind tee shots a big question mark. Distance markings were not present that I saw outside standard 100/150/200 markers so GPS would be needed to get dialed in on yardages.

I cannot accurately judge pace of play as there weren't many folks out during our round. No issues on time during our round.

Played course thanksgiving day was in great shape for time of year. Green perfect. Being a holiday didnt meet many of the staff but ones we meet were vry nice and helpful. When i come back to visit relatives again this will be first course i go to

Course was in great conditions, greens were very fast but rolled very true, fiarways have gone dormant with the cool weather but are still in very good condition. the price I paid on golf now made it a great value.

The fairways are cut too short but the course is in good shape otherwise. Greens were in excellent condition and very fast.
Tee boxes were fairly rugged though and need leveling. Hard to get a level stance on some of them. Wide open fairways a plus and void of fall leaves to hide your ball. The tall grass on the fairway borders will give you a good test of iron selection and play, bunkers were not as evident as they are on most golf courses. Not many water hazards . Had a fun day but the cold wind was a factor on many holes as the course is wide open and elevated above the land west and south of the course.

Other than the greens I would say this course was nothing special. I paid a great price on golf now. If I had paid regular price I would be very upset.

we grabbed a fire deal and so the price was super. When we walked into the pro shop, the staff member called us by name (we were the only ones on the tee time sheet - probably due to the cold and windy weather). Nevertheless, the staff member was nice and directed us to the golf carts. The greens were well watered and green. The fairways were not green but were in good condition. Tee signs were often broken or crooked. Trash cans were often bent and disorderly. A cart bridge was in need of paint repair. It was odd that some things were not maintained but that the grass and course overall were well maintained. They could probably benefit from putting on the finishing touches.

The course was fun and easy to play. There are few trees and open fairways. There are some hills and water but not too much...just enough to make it fun.

I recommend this course at a good price and plan to play it again soon.

I love to play here. it is a great layout with very large greens. I try to play here often. The water on # 1 orchard will make you turn around and go home, but don't, the best is still yet to come.

Course was in great shape, greens were true, fairways well maintained, especially for this time of the year.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Course in great shape. Tee time 236 pm on Thursday, not crowded at all.

I've always enjoyed playing this course. I never seems too crowded, not too many jerks either. Staff is always friendly.
I consider this a mostly wide open course. The greens & fairways were nice when I was there. You can find some sprinklerheads with yardage markers.
