Situated just east of Atlanta, the Country Club of Gwinette offers a change of pace from your typical Atlanta golf course. The layout sprawls across rolling, densely wooded terrain that gives the feeling of peaceful seclusion. Though the golf course is seemingly short at 6,429 yards from the back tees, the undulating hills make it play much longer. There are several tee shots where you'll have to think carefully about your strategy in order to stay out of trouble. The greens have challenging contours and they're protected by strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the hills and bunkers, a lake comes into play on six holes. It's a tough but fair golf course that will appeal to players of all skill levels. The Country Club of Gwinette's practice facilities include a driving range and a putting green with a practice bunker.
