This course was one of the worst I've seen. It is a toss-up as to whether the ball bounced higher off the cart path than the middle of the fairway. The traps were red clay with a little bit of sand mixed in and, in many instances, sported large mud puddles. The greens had so many ball marks that they looked like to surface of the moon; your golf would literally bounce across the green on a putt.

Sadly, I can think of nothing good to say about the course.

The information provided here is incorrect - this course has been an Eighteen-Hole Championship Course since 2000. The course was designed by Ward Northrup, and the back 9-holes are absolutly breathtaking. Most courses in the area lost their greens due to the intense heat this summer, but superintendent, Heath Hammonds was able to keep St. Andrews' green.

Great public rates and fabulous membership packages.
