- If you haven't played here in the past year, give it a try!!! Greens are in spectacular shape! They have recently replaced a few areas that were questionable on the greens. Fairways are good to very good. Price can't be beat!! The only area I think could use improvement is the sand traps. They don't take them regularly. But stay out of them and you don't have to worry about that!!! I enjoy the staff, the course and the layout! A few holes are challenging but fairly easy overall. I'm about a 15 handicap but frequently shoot sub 79 here!!! Best was a 75!!! Very, very good course!!!Has to be one of the worst courses in Ga! Save ur money and go elsewhere!Pathetic in everyway possible! Deadpan on half of the greens , unlevel barren teeboxes, fairways again r criss crossing to the point u need a hardhat issued to be safe! Proshop staff are unwelcoming and dont appreciate ur buisness at all! I cant think of anything positive to say about it, absolutely nothing! Spend a little more money and go elsewhere if u want to enjoy ur hard earned money! Awful, awful, awful in everyway.This is a nice city course, well maintained with a great staff! The holes are fun and challenging. I've been playing there for 30 plus years and always enjoy getting out on the course, playing with good friends, perhaps teaming up with another player, or sometimes by myself. It's close to home and inexpensive to play there, so I highly recommend it!

The Houston County High School golf championship held was today.
There was not any golf carts for family or spectators. I was informed that another tournament was to tee off an hour later.They saved 27 carts for them (9 Holes). A foursome (2 carts) per nine holes = 18 golf carts.It was foolish to think that any parent was going to watch their child play. I will NEVER give you another dime of my money
